Is Brock Lesnar Dangerous in the Ring Kurt Angle Recalls Getting Injured by the Beast Incarnate

Kurt Angle talked about getting injured by Brock Lesnar and the question of whether Lesnar is dangerous in the ring is more nuanced than it seems.
The Olympic gold medalist recalled a shooting star press gone wrong at WrestleMania that could have been much worse than it was. Lesnar landed on Angles head. Both survived but it wasnt pretty.
Wrestling Inc covered Angles comments from his podcast.
Lesnar is legitimately one of the most athletic big men ever in wrestling. His physical gifts are undeniable. But power without precise control can be problematic in a choreographed environment.
Athletic performance at the highest levels involves calculated risks. Wrestling just calculates them differently than other sports.
The dangerous label might be unfair. Wrestlers get hurt by lots of people. Some injuries are flukes. Others are patterns. Lesnars history has examples of both.
Angle emphasized he doesnt hold grudges. Part of the business is trusting people to catch you and sometimes they dont. The relationship between the two appears fine.
Modern WWE has more safety protocols than the era when they both started. Whether Lesnar has adapted to those or still works like its 2002 varies by account.
The man is a draw regardless. Dangerous or not people pay to see him.
