These Brilliant Storage Containers Totally Changed the Way I Freeze Leftovers
I found storage containers that actually work for freezing leftovers and I need everyone to know about them. This is not a drill.
The problem with most containers is they either crack in the freezer dont seal properly or are impossible to stack. These solve all three problems which shouldnt feel revolutionary but here we are.
Good Housekeeping tested a bunch of options and I went with one of their recommendations.
The seal is actually airtight which prevents freezer burn. That alone makes them worth whatever they cost because throwing away freezer burned food is basically throwing away money.
Food waste is a real problem and proper storage is one solution.
They stack neatly which matters when your freezer is the size of a shoebox. Every inch counts and containers that waste space are containers that dont get used.
The material is thick enough to survive being dropped which happens more than Id like to admit when Im reorganizing the freezer. Nothing worse than a container that cracks after three uses.
They come in various sizes which sounds basic but not all brands do that. You want small ones for sauces and big ones for soups and medium ones for portions of whatever.
My freezer actually makes sense now. Thats the real victory here.
