Derrick Henry Goes Absolutely Nuclear With 4 TDs 216 Yards in Ravens Win Over Packers

Football stadium lights NFL game

YALL. YALL. I need everyone to stop what theyre doing and understand what we just witnessed Saturday night at Lambeau Field.

Derrick Henry just put up one of the greatest rushing performances in NFL history. 36 carries. 216 yards. FOUR touchdowns. In a must win game. On the road. In December. At Lambeau freaking Field.

The Ravens beat the Packers 41-24 and honestly it wasnt even that close. Henry was running through defenders like they werent there.

Breaking Records Left and Right

Let me give you the numbers because the numbers are INSANE.

This was Henry’s seventh career 200-yard rushing game. ESPN confirms thats the most in NFL history. He passed Adrian Peterson and OJ Simpson who both had six. Just casually breaking all time records on a Saturday night in Wisconsin.

The 216 yards is the most ever by a visiting player at Lambeau Field. Ever. In the entire history of that stadium.

John Harbaugh told reporters it was “one of the greatest performances I’ve ever seen.” And Harbaugh has been coaching since forever. He’s seen some stuff.

The Touchdowns

Henry scored from 3 yards out. Then 1 yard. Then 3 yards again. Then he broke off a 25 yarder in the fourth quarter that basically ended any hope Green Bay had left.

NBC Sports has the full breakdown but watching it live was something else. There was a point where you could see the Packers defense just… give up. They knew what was coming and couldnt do anything about it.

What This Means for the Playoffs

Okay so here’s where it gets interesting. The Ravens are now 10-6 and very much alive. But they still need help.

Yahoo Sports lays out the scenario – Baltimore needs the Browns to beat the Steelers today plus win their own Week 18 game against Pittsburgh to take the AFC North. Its basically a winner take all situation now.

The NFL playoff race is absolutely bonkers this year. Nothing is decided. Everything matters.

The Bears Win the NFC North

Oh and because the Packers lost? The Chicago Bears just won the NFC North. Their first division title since 2018.

Bears fans are going absolutely crazy right now. They didnt even have to play. Just watched Derrick Henry hand them a division championship.

Matt LaFleur called it a “humbling night” which. Yeah. Getting absolutely trucked by one guy for four touchdowns will humble you real quick.

This Is Why We Watch

Im sorry but this is why football is the greatest sport. You get moments like this. A 31 year old running back in his 10th season just going off like hes 23 again. Breaking records that have stood for decades.

The Ravens official recap has all the quotes and stats if you want to relive it.

This is why I still love sports. Even when my teams let me down. Nights like Saturday remind you what’s possible.

Next week is going to be absolutely electric. Ravens at Steelers for the division. Cant wait.

King Henry showed up when it mattered most. Now we see if the Ravens can finish the job.
