Xbox Live users look at strange error messages rather than play games. Microsoft has confirmed that Xbox live server will remain down tonight. But there are no words on how long it may take to fix the problem.
The problem has started at around 10 pm BST. The tech giant has revealed that the Server Status page is confirming that core features are currently suffering an outage.

Due to an issue, User will also find it difficult to purchase buying items, redeeming codes, or downloading purchases on the Xbox One console ecosystem. The official Xbox Twitter account confirmed the specific issues with downloading content.
The team wrote on the twitter that they have seen the reports about the issues accessing the previously purchased games, movies and TV and they have started working on the issue. Xbox also said that they will update their users from time to time.
Xbox Live support team updated a message on the server status page that their engineers and developers are actively continuing to work to resolve the issue causing some members to have a problem finding previously-purchased content or purchasing new content.
