‘This League is Pure Entertainment’: Warriors’ Steph Curry and Steve Kerr Speak up on James Harden Trade

James Harden Leaves LeBron James and Russell Westbrook Way Behind in a Crazy NBA Record

2018 MVP James Harden will soon enter the court as a member of the Brooklyn Nets. Harden already made it quite clear that he wanted to get out of Houston earlier this offseason. Furthermore, he named the Nets as one of his top preferred destinations. But can Harden win a ring with his new team?

The blockbuster trade shook the entire world of basketball as the Nets formed a super-team. Interestingly, a few years ago, Harden and the Rockets had to face the Golden State Warriors’ super-team in the playoffs.

While he got close to defeating them on numerous occasions, it was never enough. At the time, Warriors were too strong for James Harden who was punching above his weight.

With James Harden being traded to the Nets, a lot of players from the NBA have given their reactions. Warriors superstar Steph Curry revealed his thoughts on the trade as well. He said:

“This league is pure entertainment. These type of trades keep the interest level at an all time high. I’m excited to watch it all the way through as a competitor. It keeps the antenna up.”

Along with Curry, Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr also reacted to the news. Kerr said:

My first thought is it’s good to get James Harden to the East. I think that’s good, you know we have had a lot of the dominant NBA players that’ve been in the West, for whatever reason.”

As Steve Kerr mentioned, for the last two decades or so, the West has always been a little more powerful compared to the East. But in the last couple of years, the balance in the league has been restored. Right now, both conferences have multiple teams that have the potential to become the next NBA champions.

But among those teams, the Brooklyn Nets have definitely climbed some ranks in that ladder. What are your thoughts on the James Harden trade? How will this affect the league as a whole? Let us know your views in the comments section down below.
