Russian Wrecking Machine Artur Beterbiev Returns in March 2021 to Fight Adam Deines

The Russian light-heavyweight, Artur Beterbiev, will finally step inside the ring on March 20. Beterbiev tested positive for the coronavirus but has recovered well and is focused on his comeback. He will confront Adam Deines to defend his WBC and IBF light-heavyweight titles.

Earlier, the fight got lined up for October 2020, but the Russian injured himself. Subsequently, this fight got called off because of some concerns over TV networks. Now, this is the third time that this epic encounter has gotten booked and fans will hope that third time’s the charm.

Michael Benson reported this and took to his official Twitter handle pertaining to the fight’s announcement.

For now, this is one highly important clash that possesses the ability to shape the 175-pound division. Both the boxers are extremely elevated to make a worthy comeback to the ring and dwell at the pinnacle of the division. Especially Beterbiev, who bagged the second belt and went out of action for a while.

The Russian had a fear of being stripped of his titles because of his inactivity. Hence, he will be glad that his setbacks didn’t keep him away from the squared circle for much longer.

Beterbiev, 36, has crucified every opponent he’s touched gloves with. He has a 100% knockout ratio and is one of the most dominant champions in the history of the 175-pound division.

He will look to continue in this same vein against Deines in Russia.

The 36-year-old is one to watch out for as nobody in the 175-pound division dominates his opponents the way he does. He leverages on his opponents with his intimidating power and swift movements inside the squared circle. Right from the first bell, he’ll stick to his primal plans no matter who is against him.

However, Deines won’t make it easy for the champion and will look to hand Beterbiev his maiden professional loss.

The Russian’s approach in this fight will be worth a watch as he prominently scores knockdowns in the initial rounds of the fight. His fans will look forward to seeing him get his hand raised yet again on March 20.
