New World Order To Feature Marvel’s Diamondback

Diamondback is rumored to make an appearance in the Marvel Studios feature Captain America: New World Order.

According to Hollywood insider Daniel Richtman, Captain America: New World Order is set to feature the live-action debut of a female incarnation of the Marvel villain Diamondback. Another insider who goes by “CanWeGetToast” on Twitter revealed that Diamondback is expected to be a member of the Serpent Society.

Marvel is looking for an actress in her early-to-mid 30s for the role of Diamondback. The Captain America: New World Order character is described as a “a villain but also possibly a love interest,” with an option for future Marvel Cinematic Universe appearances.

, reprising his role as Sam Wilson. Details regarding the movie are being kept under wraps. Production is expected to kick off this March for a 2024 release.

New World Order is set after the Disney Plus series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which follows Sam Wilson as he embraces the Captain America mantle in a post-Avengers: Endgame world. Thunderbolt Ross (Harrison Ford) and The Leader (Tim Blake Nelson) are expected to serve as the main villains of the movie.

Julius Onah is directing Captain America: New World Order, working a script by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. The cast of the movie also includes Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley and Shira Haas as Sabra.
