NBA Finals Dominate, ‘The Flash’ Season 7 Ender Falls – Report Door

Wednesday evening was a win for both the Milwaukee Bucks and ABC as the NBA Finals Game 6 dominated ratings and viewers. Per Nielsen Live + Same Day fast affiliates the two-hour sporting event drew in 8.78 million viewers and a 2.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

The Milwaukee Bucks faced off with the Phoenix Suns, taking the lead in a 105 -98 point game. Wednesday marked the Bucks’ first NBA Championship in 50 Years. Wednesday’s game showed a massive improvement from last year’s Game 6 between the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat, which drew in a 2.1 rating an 5.60M viewers.

Elsewhere on Wednesday primetime, America’s Got Talent on NBC drew in a 0.8 rating and an average of 6.55M viewers for its two-hour block. College Bowl followed in the evening  (0.4, 2.12M).

Beyond the NBA Finals, Wednesday marked a quiet night for The Flash

and Mental Samurai finales on The CW and Fox, respectively. The Flash closed off its seventh season with an action-packed episode that teased happy endings for Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and more. The Season 7 finale (0.2, .72M) fell from the Season 6 ender on May 12, 2020 (0.4, 1.08M) by a two tenths in rating, approximately 33% drop in viewers.

Mental Samurai also faced a drop in viewers from its premiere earlier in May (0.2, 1.11M). The Season 2 finale drew in 953K viewers and maintained a 0.2 rating.

CBS aired a new episode of Love Island (0.3, 1.61M), and the CW aired a new episode of Superman & Lois (0.1, 816K)
