‘I’m Not Worried At All’: Celtics’ Jaylen Brown Assured That the Organization is Heading in Right Direction

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have developed into phenomenal players for the Boston Celtics. The Celtics’ future looks safe with the two being their leaders. But is it finally time to worry about their postseason performances?

Even in the 2020 postseason, the Celts couldn’t make it all the way to the finals. They were one of the favorites to come out of East. However, Miami stopped them in their tracks.

Jaylen Brown opens up on the regular season expectations from the team

Jaylen Brown talked about the expectations for this season in a media conference.

I am not worried at all,” said Brown. “I believe in our system, our coaching staff, and the guys we have. We just gotta come out and get a rhythm, get a feel for it with each other. Obviously, we got some guys that are out and obviously we got some guys who are stepping into new roles and we’re just going through that process.”

Despite missing Kemba Walker for at least the first half of the season, Boston has plenty of star power. They should be able to hold their own until Walker returns to the team. Brown said, “It’s a long season, we all know that. We would love to have that learning process sped up. But we are gonna stick with it, I believe in this organization and system and team. I feel like we would improve in the right direction.”

The pre-season has not been kind to the Celts. They have lost both the games that they have played so far. However, it is just the pre-season after all, and the real deal begins on December 22.

The Boston Celtics are a historic franchise and playing for such an organization comes with its fair share of expectations. Boston fans have been waiting for their club to deliver on those expectations for more than a decade now.

It was back in 2008, when they last won an NBA title and they haven’t made it the finals since 2010. But looking at their current roster, the wait could be over soon. The Celtics are heading into the right direction and this year they might finally win it all.
