Huey Haha, TikTok and YouTube star, dead at 22

TikTok and Youtube star Huey Haha, a content creator with millions of viral video views, has died. He was 22.

The passing of the Stockton, California-based comic — of Vietnamese heritage, his real name was Huey Ha — was confirmed Wednesday via social media.

“Rest In Peace to Huey Ha,” a post on his official Instagram reads. “Huey Ha passed away October 25, 2021. He loved and appreciated every single one of his supporters.”

His official cause of death has not yet been revealed, and his flourishing TikTok account — where he racked up more than 4.5 million views — has been deleted, the Independent reported.

The social media star first appeared on the digital scene two years ago. He often sported a blinged-out grill and became known for posting hundreds of short-form comedy bits online. In addition to his massive TikTok audience, Huey amassed nearly 450,000 subscribers on YouTube and more than 200,000 Instagram followers.

Rumors of his death first spread online Wednesday, with fan and peer tributes flooding multiple platforms until he became a trending topic on Twitter.

“Damn u was a staple in this entertainment s–t for the asians too 🙏,” fellow social media star @DollaSigngYoung posted

on Huey’s Instagram in tribute. “May your soul rest in peace bro.”

“Rest in Paradise to this young, creative, and amazingly talented star,” one Twitter mourner commented. “You will be missed. Prayers and condolences to all of your friends and family.”

“That boy had half of Stockton laughin’ at his skits,” another fan posted. “Rest in paradise to Huey.

“Man RIP Huey. This got me f–ked up,” another shared overnight. “Idk what happened but I understand the grind to get to where he was. Praying for his baby girl and fam. How did Huey Haha die?”

As of Thursday morning, a GoFundMe launched by Huey’s friend, Coby Jdn, had raised more than $32,700 to cover funeral costs and support his 2-year-old daughter, Princess.

As of Thursday morning, a GoFundMe launched by his friend, Coby Jdn, had generated more than $32,700 in donations to cover funeral costs and support his little girl.

“Used to saying RIP but this hurt the most💔we always hated comedy cuz all people see is laughs, not what we hadda do or go through,” Jdn posted on Instagram. “They already took the fun out the comedy but now its not gon be the same without you. We love you brother see you in the future.”
