WATCH: Oleksandr Usyk Dances as He Prepares For Dereck Chisora

Former unified Cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk is ready to embrace his heavyweight journey by going against veteran Dereck Chisora on October 31.

Despite being an undefeated cruiserweight, Usyk might face some new threats when he locks horns against the ‘War’. Many boxers believe that Usyk is not a perfect specimen for the heavyweight division, and he might face a crushing defeat against Chisora. However, it’s still too early to write him off from the mix.

He is the first cruiserweight boxer to hold world titles in four organizations- WBA, WBO, IBF, and WBC. Taking out 13 of his opponents via KO in his 17 professional wins, Usyk is clearly one of the looming athletes in the sport. That said, he appears relaxed before his fight against Chisora.

Oleksandr Usyk grooves as he prepares for ‘WAR’ Chisora

While Chisora has all the tools to land a stunner, Usyk doesn’t want to stress about it. Instead, he is dancing and grooving to music inside the gym.

The official Instagram handle of Sky Sports boxing has recently posted a video of Usyk’s training. The 33-year showcased some dance steps, as he was playing the song “Cry” from the album “Kara” in the background.

Later, he had a long time chatting with everyone and playing some freestyle soccer. It didn’t seem that he had any pressure for Chisora’s dominance. However, the Ukrainian sensation is also gearing up for heavyweight action and he is leaving no stones unturned at the gym.

The 12-rounds heavyweight battle will demand both the boxers to give their best inside the ring. While they need to prepare themselves for a long time, it can also go down to one punch. Both Usyk and Chisora have intense power in their fists. Thus, if landed clean, any of them can hit the canvas.

Regardless of who takes the win, the matchup will allure fight fans. Not only that, but it will also pave a gateway for Dereck Chisora to start climbing up in the title race. Meanwhile, it will also enable Usyk to frame himself in the heavyweight roster.
